Grant Writing Workshop: Designing a Research Budget

Proposal budgets serve as financial representation of a research project, providing the best estimate of the resources needed to carry out the proposed work. Graduate students are encouraged to attend this workshop for a breakdown of the elements to consider when preparing a research budget, including the budgeting process, identifying the appropriate categories for allocating research expenses and accessing on-campus resources that can support a proposal submission.
3MT Competition Submission Deadline
Thursday, Feb. 13 | 11:59 p.m.
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition is a global competition in which students pitch their research to the public in a 3-minute format. It’s a challenging but fun experience for doctoral students who want to improve their public speaking skills and win cash prizes.
