Scholarships and Internships

WVU offers scholarships to continuing PhD students and master’s level students. These scholarships may provide students with stipends, tuition waivers, and/or research and travel support.  


Scholarships for Graduate Students

Hazel Ruby McQuain – Graduate Scholarship designed to financially support outstanding incoming West Virginia residents to pursue and complete a graduate degree

WVU Foundation Distinguished Doctoral Scholarships – scholarships awarded to continuing doctoral candidates to defray education and research costs

Carl del Signore Foundation Graduate Scholarships – scholarships awarded to continuing master’s students engaged in research activities

Humanities Summer Internships – scholarships awarded to doctoral students in the humanities to support participation in summer internship programs
