An increasing amount of work is being performed by teams due to the hope of improving performance on complex tasks. My research investigates the contribution and significance of team dynamics to the biochemical and physiological responses of individuals performing tasks (e.g. decision-making). This will enhance our understanding of employing biometric measurements (e.g. saliva and blood biomarkers, heart rate, breathing rate) to elucidate the impact of biological processes in stressful environmental conditions. This research offers an opportunity to explore the science behind human behavior and potentially provide a way to predict outcomes based on quantifiable biochemical responses. Understanding the integrative relationship between these responses has the potential to give exceptional insight into larger, more complex human behaviors.
