Saxophonist Christopher DeLouis is an avid soloist, chamber musician and educator. With a passion for all styles of music ranging from traditional to contemporary, he has given concerts and clinics across the Midwest and the Washington D.C. and Southern New England areas. Christopher has a strong interest in contemporary music and has commissioned and premiered almost a dozen new pieces for the instrument. He is also interested in the studies of performance anxiety and personal habits. Having read numerous books on these subjects, he has improved his own practice habits and how he mentally prepares before and during performances. These books have also helped him work with students who are having the same issues. Christopher's long-term professional goal is to be a Saxophone Professor at the College/University level.
