Graduate Student Support Resources

Are you a master’s or doctoral student working on a dissertation or thesis? Are you trying to find the right topic for your thesis or dissertation? Or maybe you’ve already started your research but don’t know how to structure your writing. Luckily you have a knowledgeable, supportive advisor to help you navigate the master’s or doctoral terrain. But what about everything else? Well don’t fear, DoctoralNet and MastersNet are here. (MastersNet is a sub-division of the DoctoralNet service platform.) DoctoralNet is an all-access online student support resource for building a thesis and dissertation, and WVU graduate and professional students now have full access to this service for FREE (see registration details below)!

DoctoralNet offers a wealth of information, with a step-by-step guide to completing your thesis or dissertation. The DoctoralNet suite also includes over a dozen online app-like services that students access through a portal that looks and feels like their university’s online presence. It enhances the learning and work done in classes and through supervisors, and supports their tasks to help doctoral and master’s students finish efficiently, filling gaps caused by busy schedules and working students.

Do you want access to DoctoralNet? It’s as easy as 1…2…3!

1. Visit wvu.doctoralnet.com
2. Click on the “Create and account” button.
3. Complete the form using your WVU MIX email address.

You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours and can begin using the services immediately! If you have any questions, please contact Josh Harrison at jharri38@mail.wvu.edu.
